Earthquake is an indispensable reality in Turkey. The developments in software, systems engineering and artificial intelligence in recent years also increase the effectiveness of studies in the field of earthquake engineering. For this aim, Turkish Earthquake Foundation (TDV), which pioneered many domestic and international scientific activities in the field of earthquake engineering in Turkey, will organize a workshop on May 26 2022, titled “Workshop on Earthquake and Software Engineering in Seismic Risk Management [ESEW]”. The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers/experts/practitioners in the field of software and earthquake engineering for seismic risk management.

The workshop will be held under the management of TDV Chairman of the Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Alper İLKİ and Prof. Dr. Mehmet AKŞİT from TOBB University of Economics and Technology.
